People are reacting to a sermon delivered by Pastor Bayo Oluwayemi of the Word International Christian Centre Worldwide. The pastor delivered a sermon in which he admonished his congregation not to think of paying tithes if their children's school fees were due. The pastor said parents should not bring money to church if children's school fees are due.  The pastor suggested that children's school fees ought to come first instead of using it to pay tithe in church. Pastor Bayo said it would amount to mortgaging children's future if parents prioritise giving money to church of school fees.
